To set up the pre-conversation flow go to Settings > Default messages > Active > Get context  

The pre-conversation flow allows the users to get some details from the visitor so that the conversations can be more personalized. This is also a great way to automatically capture visitor details for use in future interactions or campaigns.

These questions will be asked automatically as a part of the conversation right after the welcome message while the team is active. Please note that the fields that you include in the pre-conversation flow would be mandatory to answer for the visitor.

  • Enable the pre-conversation flow by toggling the “get context before you start a conversation”  
  • Click on the eye symbol next to the fields that you would like to include in the pre-conversation flow
  • Change the order of the fields by dragging and dropping the text field  
  • Remember to hit save
